Let’s face it, Trees are fascinating.
Some people from different parts of the world believed that souls of unborn babies lived in trees until birth. In Korea, spirits of women who died in childbirth were thought to live in trees.
Birds make their homes in trees and raise their babies there while squirrels hide their nuts so they have nourishment for the cold winter season.
Trees are beautiful, some are dreamy like the Cherry Blossom tree. Others are glamorous like the Palm tree. And let’s not forget the Evergreen tree that is timeless.
Look around you and see the extraordinary, majestic trees all around you. The way the branches reach upward and seem to lovingly embrace the entire world and how they house the tiniest bug yet able to withstand the strength and weight of a tiger !
Some even produce a yummy syrup – maple syrup ! Simply magical !
Trees are usually connected with positive aspects of life like the tree of life represents the immaculate state of humanity free from corruption
Robin Hood and Sherwood Forest, where he based his ‘merry men’ was the use of one tree known as the Major Oak for their meeting place.
Trees to me symbolize goodness, purity, happiness and love. When I paint trees I connect with a high vibrational power that inspires and induces in me feelings of indescribable elation and the results on canvas are blushed with enchanting delight.

"Chi" is that "bio-electricity" or "energy" in the body which makes us "alive." It is also that life giving energy that permeates our universe. This special painting was inpsired to me in a dream of a beautiful tree enveloped in beautiful colors of sea blue, lemon yellows, and hints of grape mauve. The imagination on canvas!

When I sat down to paint this tree i had no pre thoughts as to what colors to use and how it would turn out. I just started brush stroking and scrubbing paint colors together and this is what resulted. I titled it Abundance as the bursts of endless colors present a mood of neverending abundant joy, love and peace.

Having no physical existence doesn’t mean it is not there. What we can see with the human eye is fundamental to the human being however, what we feel in our hearts is just as, if not more so, important. Without our thoughts, which begin as formless as well as feelings and vibrations, our lives would be an empty shell and we would never evolve. I call this imaginary tree THE FORMLESS as it is a result of my imagination that prior to it being optical on the canvas it was just a formless thought.
